The Power Station was formed in and consisted of Andy Taylor and John Taylor of Duran Duran with Tony Thompson (2) of Chic and singer Robert coldrescapulilo.tiatinanobusvobespawiniverba.co Robert Palmer quit the group in mid, Michael Des Barres was recruited as the lead singer. The band folded in late as the members turned to other projects.

  4. This album contains typical Power Station jammin' tunes. The album opens well with the catchy tunes of Notoriety and Scared. Let's Get It On sounds like a rendition of Murderess. The album ends with a Beatle's do over of Taxman. Overall the album is typical Robert Palmer music and is worth listening to. You can really hear Andy Taylor's /5(34).

  5. Maybe the four true Power Station songs on this collection were left over from the sessions. Regardless, Living In Fear is an e.p.'s worth of superb material and a fitting tribute to the late Palmer, Thompson and Bernard Edwards (who stepped in on bass after JT jumped ship)/5(34).

Aug 03,  · David Grahame’s albums (except for “Power Station Sessions” and “Shout Heard ‘Round the World”) bear strong resemblance to early solo Paul McCartney which is not surprising because David played "Paul" in a Broadway production of “Beatlemania," and he produces and engineers the albums at his home studio.
